What Black Friday 2026 LEGO Pricing Will Look Like — Predictions From Last Year's Data

Holiday LEGO discounts follow patterns. Looking at our 2024 and 2025 deal data, here's what we expect for the November 2026 sale cycle — useful if you're already deciding what to buy and what to wait on.

The shape of the sale

In both 2024 and 2025, the deepest LEGO discounts hit during the Cyber 5 (Wednesday before Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday). The discount curve looked like:

  • Pre-Black Friday week — 15–20% off select sets, mostly mid-tier ($60–150)
  • Black Friday weekend — 25–35% off the bulk of in-production catalog
  • Cyber Monday — Online-exclusive deals, sometimes deeper than physical
  • Tuesday/Wednesday after — Quiet, with some restocking discounts

The sweet spot was Saturday-Sunday of Black Friday weekend. Most popular sets sold out by Cyber Monday and weren't restocked until December.

What discounted hardest

  • City sets — Reliable 30–40% off during peak. The cheapest place to buy LEGO during the year.
  • Friends and Disney themes — Heavy discounts as retailers move inventory.
  • Star Wars (mid-tier $50–150) — Most consistent 30% off.
  • Technic flagship cars — 25% at best, rarely 30%. LEGO holds these tighter.

What didn't discount

  • New releases (sets shipped in October/November) — Almost no discounts. Wait until spring.
  • UCS Star Wars — Maybe 15–20% if anything.
  • Modular Building Series — Rarely discounted at all during BF. The sale comes during LEGO's January VIP weeks instead.
  • Anything tagged "Retiring Soon" — Discounts vanish overnight.

Predictions for 2026

If the pattern holds:

  • Buy in November: Mid-tier Star Wars, City, Friends, Disney, Technic <$150
  • Wait until January: Modulars, smaller exclusive sets that get LEGO.com VIP love
  • Skip: Anything new released after September. The discount won't come for 4–6 months.

Strategy

Make your list now. Black Friday is loud and stocks move fast — by the time you're comparing prices, the set you wanted is gone. Set price-drop alerts on the 4–5 sets you actually want and pull the trigger when the alert fires.

Don't chase "deals" you weren't already planning to buy. The best Black Friday LEGO purchase is the one you'd have bought at full price anyway, just cheaper.
